New Schedule Revealed for D23 Day and Week-Long City Fan Celebrations
D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort is one of the most anticipated highlights of the week-long celebration, transforming the parks into the epicenter of fandom on Thursday, August 13, 2026. While the main event primarily takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center, this dedicated day brings the magic to the resort with a special Disney Legends Cavalcade, limited-edition Mickey ear hat giveaways, and the family-focused Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party at Disney California Adventure.

D23 Day kicks off a week of magic that proves the Ultimate Disney Fan Event is much more than just a weekend—it’s a city-wide takeover! The festivities begin on Saturday, August 8, with the debut of the Walt Disney Archives’ newest exhibition, Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live Action, at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center. This immersive exhibit features rare photography, iconic costume pieces, and interactive elements that explore the fascinating link between live-action performance and animation. If you’re looking to attend, set your alarms: tickets go on sale Friday, March 27, at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET at D23.com.
The magic continues on Tuesday, August 11, with D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District, a high-energy evening packed with music, trivia, and fan activities. This night also coincides with the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District, making it the perfect spot to grab a bite while celebrating with fellow fans.
On Wednesday, August 12, the celebration heads to the ballpark for D23 Night at Angel Stadium! Fans can cheer on the home team as the Angels take on the Texas Rangers, with some incredible door prizes on the line. The first 23,000 guests to enter the stadium will receive a themed D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, and if luck is on your side, you might snag one of the 2,300 exclusive gold variants. Plus, D23 Members can take advantage of discounted tickets, access to exclusive event spaces on gameday, and a special commemorative gift to mark the occasion.
On Thursday, August 13, D23 Day at Disneyland Resort officially kicks off the weekend with a star-studded Disney Legends Cavalcade, magical surprises, and a special giveaway of complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats for fans (while supplies last!).
The fun continues over at Disney California Adventure Park with the return of the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party. This one-day special event is perfectly tailored for families with young children, featuring live entertainment, favorite Disney Jr. characters, and plenty of fun photo opportunities.
