Demolition of Spirit of Aloha dinner show has begun

Demolition of the Spirit of Aloha building has begun at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Bioreconstruct shared some images of the demo on Twitter.

The beloved Spirit of Aloha dinner show is permanently closed. The building that housed the show is being replaced by a new Disney Vacation Club wing of the resort.

Many guests were heartbroken when Disney announced the closure of the show. Spirit of Aloha was a tropical feast combined with hula dancing, fire dancing, and so much more. We hope Disney can bring back some kind of luau soon!
