Walt Disney World has just announced a new way to take in the sights of the World Showcase in Epcot! For $149 you and nine of your closest friends and family can take a nice and relaxing boat ride around the World Showcase Lagoon and Crescent Lake.

These hour long, day cruises Around the World depart from the Yacht Club Resort and include snacks such as chips and pretzels and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests can also turn the cruise into a “cruise and lunch” with a private dining option that can be added on for an additional charge.

Cruises can be reserved 180 days in advance by contacting 407-WDW-PLAY.

This sounds like such a nice and relaxing way to enjoy your day at Disney! Let us know, will you be booking a Cruise Around the World?

  1. Holly,

Please note these Cruises will be on a pontoon boat that leaves from the Bayside Marina at the Yacht Club. This boat comes with a “captain” as well just like the fireworks cruises do. The cruise will last about an hour and a half. The picture above makes it seem like the Cruises are on the Friendship boats that run in world showcase. Just trying to clarify to avoid any confusion for guests and your readers. It’s my understanding as well the boats will have a spot to dock also so guests can kick back, relax and soak in the atmosphere of the world showcase. This sounds like a great experience and I can’t wait to try it.
