Chill Out! Disney’s Blizzard Beach Reopens This Week
The spring season is just around the corner, and while Central Florida temperatures are starting to climb, things are about to get frosty at Walt Disney World. Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park officially reopens this Sunday, February 15, 2026!
Whether you’re a thrill-seeker ready to tackle Mount Gushmore or a family looking for some Frozen-themed fun, here is everything you need to know about the reopening.

Double the Water Park Fun
For the first time in several years, Disney has confirmed that fans won’t have to choose between their favorite parks for long. While Typhoon Lagoon will close for its seasonal refurbishment on February 14, it is scheduled to return on May 12, 2026. From that point on, both water parks will remain open simultaneously all summer long!

Splash More for Less: The Seasonal Pass
If one visit isn’t enough, there is still time to grab the Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass. For $89 (adults) and $83 (kids 3-9), you can enjoy unlimited entry through May 9, 2026.
The pass also comes with some “frost-tastic” new perks this year:
- 20% Off Polar Patios: Relax in a private cabana for less! This is a walk-up deal only, so head to the rental desk as soon as you arrive.
- Complimentary Mini Golf: Your pass includes one round of golf before 4:00 p.m. at either Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways.

Pro Tip: Keep an eye on the calendar! Seasonal Pass block-out dates apply from March 28 to April 5, 2026, during the peak Spring Break window.

New Eats and Must-Do Attractions
Blizzard Beach is debuting some new flavors this spring. Foodies can head to Lottawatta Lodge to try the brand-new Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strips—a spicy, creamy addition to the park’s quick-service lineup.
For the little ones, Tike’s Peak remains a must-visit. This Frozen-themed area features Anna and Elsa’s igloo castle, where kids can splash alongside Olaf and his Snowgie pals in a perfectly chilled wading pool. Meanwhile, the brave at heart can race the rest of the family down the 250-foot Toboggan Racers or take the ultimate plunge down Summit Plummet.
