Darth Vader Meet and Greet at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Now in New Location
Star Wars fans, your destiny awaits. Starting today, September 25th, Darth Vader himself is greeting guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in a brand-new location. The Dark Lord of the Sith has officially relocated to the Star Tours area, offering fans an immersive chance to come face to face with one of the most iconic villains in movie history.

This change follows the recent permanent closures of Star Wars: Launch Bay and the Animation Courtyard, which had long been the go-to spots for character encounters. With those areas no longer in play, Disney has made sure the Force stays strong in Hollywood Studios by keeping Vader front and center near one of the park’s most legendary attractions.
The new meet and greet location ties in seamlessly with the story of Star Tours, making it feel like Vader could step right out of the attraction and onto your photo op. Whether you’re after a menacing picture, an autograph, or just the thrill of standing under that imposing helmet, the Sith Lord is ready to deliver an unforgettable encounter.

Disney has not confirmed how long this new setup will remain in place, but for now, Vader is scheduled to appear daily. Expect lines to form quickly—after all, there aren’t many chances to stare down the Dark Side in person.
