Universal has officially opened booking for the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience, a scream-worthy new attraction coming to Dark Universe when Epic Universe opens its coffin doors on May 22!

Forget basic makeovers—this is a full-on Monster Glow-Up. At the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience, guests will sit in the chair of transformation as skilled artists work their eerie enchantments, turning you into legendary Universal Monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, and more. Whether you’re just looking to dip a toe in the bog or go full swamp creature, there’s a makeover tier for every level of monstrous ambition.
Experiment Ticket – $45 + tax per person
For those who want to flirt with fright, this option includes face makeup only—perfect for experimenting with your darker side.
Transformation Ticket – $169 + tax per adult | $109 + tax per child (ages 3–9)
Want the full scream queen (or scream king) treatment? This deluxe experience includes face makeup AND accessories to complete your monstrous metamorphosis.
And good news for all the loyal creepers out there: Universal Orlando Annual and Seasonal Passholders get a 10% discount off the ticket price!
This experience is rising from the legacy of last year’s Monster Makeover pop-up at Universal Studios Florida, which famously transformed a Five and Dime storage closet into a mini makeup studio. That fan-favorite haunt has since closed, but the artistry lives on in this new, more immersive incarnation at Epic Universe.
