Marvel Studios’ ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Renewed, Becomes First Live-Action Marvel Series to Reach Third Season

Marvel Studios’ “Daredevil: Born Again” has officially been renewed by Disney+ for a third season, according to a report from Variety. The news confirms that production is set to begin in early 2026, with stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio returning to their roles.

The renewal news follows a period of online speculation that the series would conclude after just two seasons. Series lead Charlie Cox had made a comment at a fan panel in July suggesting that the upcoming second season would be the show’s final one. However, his co-star Vincent D’Onofrio quickly took to social media to clarify that there was a “good chance there will be a third.” With the official renewal, “Daredevil” becomes the first live-action series produced by Marvel Studios to have a third season.

“Daredevil: Born Again” launched on Disney+ in March. The cast includes Margarita Levieva, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, and Ayelet Zurer. Fan-favorite cast members Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson also reprised their roles as Karen Page and Franklin “Foggy” Nelson. Additionally, Jon Bernthal returned as Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, for the show and is also set to star in a one-off TV special focused on his character in 2026.
