Daisy’s Dig Meet and Greet Opens at Restaurantosaurus in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Daisy’s Dig Brings Character Meet-and-Greet, Crafts, and Colorful Surprises to Animal Kingdom

Daisy Duck is digging up some serious fun this summer at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, literally! As part of Cool Kid Summer, a brand-new offering called Daisy’s Dig has officially opened at Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand U.S.A., and it’s bursting with hands-on activities, delightful character moments, and prehistoric flair.

Restaurantosaurus

The days of Daisy’s outdoor meet-and-greet are extinct. Instead, guests can now find her inside “The Hip Joint,” a retro-chic dining room within Restaurantosaurus, where she mingles with families, poses for photos, and even joins in on the coloring fun — all while rocking her fabulous dinosaur-inspired outfit. Think paleontology-chic with feathers!

Tables are stocked with crayons and themed coloring pages featuring Disney favorites like Nick Wilde, Judy Hopps, Pua, and Simba. Kids can sit down and let their creativity roar while soaking in the bright, diner-style atmosphere. There’s even a rotating appearance by a Dino Institute intern who might lead sing-alongs or pop in for a quick prehistoric party.

Disney Files New Permits for Tropical Americas at Disney's Animal Kingdom

It’s worth noting that DinoLand U.S.A. is slowly going extinct, with the area being reimagined as Tropical Americas over the next couple of years. The Boneyard will close in September, and DINOSAUR is set to be reimagined into an Indiana Jones attraction by 2026. For now, there’s no official word on when Restaurantosaurus might close, so if you want to experience Daisy’s Dig before it goes extinct, now’s your chance!
