Osceola County Issues Curfew as Hurricane Milton Threatens Walt Disney World

Osceola County, Florida, which encompasses portions of Walt Disney World Resort, has declared a countywide curfew starting at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 9th, due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Milton. The curfew will remain in effect until at least 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 10th.

This curfew will directly affect guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels located within Osceola County. Guests at these resorts, including Disney’s All-Star Resorts, will be required to remain in their rooms during the curfew hours.

Curfew Details

The curfew applies to all residents of Osceola County, including those in Celebration, St. Cloud, and Kissimmee. Exemptions are in place for essential personnel, such as:

  • Police
  • Firefighters
  • Emergency services workers
  • Individuals traveling to or from work

Hurricane Milton’s Approach

Hurricane Milton, a powerful Category 4 storm, is expected to make landfall in Florida late Wednesday night. Disney World Operational Adjustments
