Crayola Experience in Orlando is giving kids a wonderful way to learn how to draw from a former Walt Disney Studios Animator! Peter Raymundo has worked on films such as Tarzan, Lilo and Stitch and The Princess and the Frog and is the author/illustrator of Third Grade Mermaid. Raymundo is teaming up with Crayola Experience this month to offer free drawing workshops for kids every Saturday through the end of the month. Classes begin at 10 a.m.
Raymundo will teach kids how to draw his own unique sea-life characters – such as mermaids, narwhals, and whales – from his novel-length, kids’ picture book Third Grade Mermaid, published by Scholastic Press.
“We feel that this is a great way to encourage reading and creativity for our young guests and offer them interaction with an author and artist” Marketing and Sales Manager Jackie Vasquez said.
Workshops are free with admission to Crayola Experience. Registration is required for all workshop participants as space is limited. The registration form can be found online at CrayolaExperience.com. All participants must be at least 5 years of age or older.
