Happily Ever After Home

Whoever needs a Disney fix, raise your hand. You are not alone! A married couple, Britni and Ben of britniandben, decided to do something about their Walt Disney World withdrawal, and so they re-created the magic of the Happily Ever After fireworks show in a Youtube video.

Both husband and wife are big Walt Disney World fans, Annual Passholders, and connoisseurs. Being separated from the parks has obviously been as hard for them as it has been for others, whether Annual Passholders or families who had planned vacations before the parks’ closures were announced. But their beautiful video recreates the “kiss goodnight” we all remember, using a model castle, changing lights, and the music of the Happily Ever After show. Since being posted on March 17th it has already been viewed almost one thousand times! We know we can’t stop reliving the wonder of it!

The Happily Ever After spectacular debuted in the Magic Kingdom on May 12th, 2017. It celebrates Disney through projections onto the castle, as well as fireworks and music.

The show lasts 18 minutes and features music and images from Disney favorites, whether classic or contemporary. It, along with our favorite rides, snacks, shows, and characters, will be returning upon the reopening of the Magic Kingdom. Until then, at least we have videos like this to remind us.
