Volcano Bay closed late last year for winter maintenance. Universal Orlando originally gave a reopening day of March 1st but new wording on the website leaves a question if it may open earlier than that.
Universal’s website now states that Volcano Bay could open on or before March 1st. This is from the website.
“Universal’s Volcano Bay is closed for the season and is currently scheduled to reopen on or before March 1, 2021.
We are working with guests who have purchased tickets to visit Volcano Bay during this timeframe as well as Universal Orlando Annual Passholders affected by this update. For assistance, guests can visit Guest Services at Universal Studios Florida or Universal’s Islands of Adventure, or call (877) 801-9720.”
With Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure hitting capacity every weekend they may be looking into reopening the waterpark. Keep checking back as we continue to update.
