Although not directly confirmed by Disney, sources online are reporting that the Lost City of Cibola pool at Coronado Springs resort will be closing this fall for a refurbishment. No exact dates have been released as of yet, but it’s believed to begin in September and last at least a couple of months. There are 3 quiet pools located around the resort that will stay open for Guests enjoyment.
No word on if the pool bar Siestas will close or remain open, or the hot tub. They are all located within a fenced in area with the main pool so there’s a good chance everything will be closed during this refurbishment.
UPDATE: Pool rehab is supposed to start in September 2018. No exact dates yet. The rehab is scheduled to last about a month to a month and a half.
