The Contempo Cafe at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort is full of holiday cheer this December with two new Christmas desserts. Starting daily at lunchtime, satisfy your holiday sweet tooth with two new Christmas treats – Silent Night Confetti Cake and the Mickey Santa Hat Cupcake.
Mickey Santa Hat Cupcake – $5.49 or 1 snack credit
Festive gingerbread cake is filled with vanilla buttercream. To create Santa’s hat, red-colored vanilla buttercream is swirled on top of the cake with a mini marshmallow and rimmed with white crispy pearls. Last but not least, chocolate disks are placed on the hat to make Mickey’s signature ears.
Silent Night Confetti Cake – $5.29 or 1 snack credit
To recreate the Silent Night candle, yellow sprinkle cake is filled with custard, covered in yellow buttercream, and Christmas sprinkles that decorate the base. White chocolate ganache is poured on top of the cake to mimic the “candle” melting.
