Construction walls have appeared at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar, the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop at Magic Kingdom, enveloping the courtyard area. While the gift shop remains open, the walls do make walking through the gift shop a bit more challenging.

The construction walls enclose the central open-air section of the shop, an area that typically offers a tropical respite amidst the swashbuckling excitement of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. The reason for the construction remains a mystery. Disney has not provided any official explanation for the work being done. However, there are rumors circulating that it might be for a new pirate-themed tavern set to open in Magic Kingdom.
