New barriers have appeared across from the Frontier Trading Post, boxing in a nearby flowerbed. Though the boardwalk is still open for foot traffic, it’s now a narrow path flanked by construction scrim. While this walkway is expected to be refurbished rather than removed, the same can’t be said for the surrounding structures.

Recent permits indicate a permanent goodbye for two Frontierland staples: the Westward Ho kiosk and Big Al’s. The latter is particularly significant, as it represents one of the final remaining original ticket booths in the Magic Kingdom.
