Walt Disney World has been updating a lot of things lately. But they haven’t just confined the refurbishing to inside the parks. The entrance signs have been getting beautified too! The latest fix-up we’ve noticed is the entrance to Walt Disney World property over by Disney Springs.
You can clearly see the difference between Mickey and Minnie’s sides of the entrance. Although we have loved the purplish hues and mouse head outlines still visible behind Minnie, Mickey’s side has an admittedly sharper and cleaner look to it. The blue almost appears to shimmer in the sun and the grey pillars are a much more modern look. We are excited to see how all the entrances look when they’re finished!
The new color palette is meant to complement Cinderella Castle’s updated colors. Walt Disney World sets a tone from the moment guests set foot on the property, and with the 50th-anniversary celebration coming up next year, a modern look is essential! New experiences are being created all over the resort, such as Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, TRON: Lightcycle Run, and Space 220 Restaurant; why not a new entrance to those attractions as well?
What do you think of the updated entrances? Let us know in the comments!
