Level99 Files Permit for Exterior Signage at Disney Springs as Opening Gets Closer
Level99 has officially filed a new permit for exterior signage at its future location at Disney Springs. The Notice of Commencement covers the installation of exterior signs at the former NBA Experience building, a space with a long and complicated history that previously housed DisneyQuest and later NBA Experience before going dark in 2020.

The signage work will be handled by Lauretano Sign Group, a company with roots in Connecticut and a Florida presence, and the permit was filed directly by a representative of Level99. While an exact opening date has not been announced, Level99 is currently targeting a 2026 debut, and visible exterior signage is often one of the final clues that an opening is inching closer.
Adding to the momentum, the company began hiring its opening team last fall, another sign that behind-the-scenes progress is picking up speed. Once open, Level99 will bring an interactive, competitive social gaming experience geared toward adults, featuring more than 60 challenge rooms and duels, the capacity to host over 1,000 players, a two-story bar serving handcrafted cocktails and local beers, and a chef-driven menu highlighted by its award-winning Detroit-style pizza.

After years of watching this massive building sit unused, the addition of signage is a welcome step toward finally bringing new life back to this corner of Disney Springs.
