Pixar has released new concept art for projects that they plan on releasing in 2014 and beyond.

First up is a movie we have all been waiting for and that is “Monsters University”.

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the
door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.

Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”). The film opens in
U.S. theaters on June 21, 2013, and will be shown in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

Also, not sure if you caught it during the Rose Bowl but if you missed the “Imagine” commercial’s debut for Monsters University here it is:

The Good Dinosaur“, a Pixar project set to release in May 2014 is set in a world where dinosaurs never became extinct.

What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? This hilarious, heartfelt and original tale is directed by Bob Peterson (co-director/writer, Up; writer, Finding Nemo) and produced by John Walker(The IncrediblesThe Iron Giant).

Pete Docter’s “The Inside Out” will take us through the human mind and into all the darkest recesses. But you will have to wait until June of 2015 to see this film.

John Lasseter described the set up like this:

The emotions of this little girl are the characters and it takes place in the head of this little girl, and shows how they control things that go on.
