CommuniCore Hall Blooms with 30 Years of Floral Celebration at EPCOT
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has officially blossomed into its 30th year, and CommuniCore Hall is at the heart of the celebration! This newly opened space is a vibrant hub, offering guests an immersive experience into the magic behind Disney’s horticultural artistry.

Stepping inside CommuniCore Hall is like entering a floral wonderland. Brightly colored faux flowers burst from planters, while walls adorned with decals of tall grasses and blossoms immediately immerse visitors in the festival’s cheerful atmosphere. The familiar EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival logo is prominently displayed, setting the stage for the horticultural journey within.

The hall itself is festively decorated, with lush plants, swaying palm trees, and vibrant banners creating a celebratory ambiance. Overhead, circular lighting fixtures echo the floral wreath art seen on the Festival Passport, unifying the visual theme. Comfortable seating areas invite guests to relax and soak in the atmosphere.
Topiary displays, a hallmark of the festival, line the walls, showcasing whimsical creations of fruits and vegetables. Themed festival banners hang from the ceiling, adding to the festive flair. A small informational sign offers insights into the festival’s history and horticultural practices. Banners proudly proclaim “30 Years and Growing,” featuring the beloved Orange Bird soaring above a bounty of fruits and vegetables, a testament to the festival’s enduring legacy.
At the center of CommuniCore Hall, Spike the Bee takes center stage in a stunning topiary display. Surrounded by large planters overflowing with diverse plants and flowers, Spike embodies the buzzing energy of the festival.
Guests can also indulge their culinary senses at the nearby EPCOT Farmers Feast outdoor kitchen, offering a delightful array of food and beverages. This seasonal kiosk, available from March 5 through April 5, 2025, provides a delectable taste of the festival’s flavors.
A captivating display case inside CommuniCore Hall chronicles the history of Disney character topiaries, detailing their introduction years and locations throughout the park. A maquette of Bo Peep, who joined the festival in 2019, is featured, alongside Anna and Elsa, and the returning Phineas and Ferb, who make a triumphant comeback after an eight-year absence. The display also highlights Figment, a festival favorite since 2017.
Adding to the wealth of information, along the opposite wall is a display titled “The EPCOT Festival 2025 Almanac,” featuring Spike the Bee and Orange Bird. The reverse side of this display delves into the origins of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, offering a deeper understanding of its rich history.
A display on the right, labeled “Feather Forecast,” illuminates the incredible journey of purple martins, birds that make an annual visit to the festival. Flipping this display reveals “Flower Towers,” an explanation of the stunning vertical floral displays that punctuate the EPCOT landscape.
