Tinker Bell and the Mysterious Winter Woods is an upcoming 2011 computer animated film based on the Disney Fairies franchise, produced by DisneyToon Studios.
It is the sequel to the 2010 film, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue and revolves around Tinker Bell, a fairy character created by J. M. Barrie in his play, Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up, and featured in subsequent adaptations, especially in animated works by the Walt Disney Company.
The film will be produced using Digital 3D modeling. It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment on February 8, 2011.
Starring the voices of Mae Whitman, Lucy Liu, Kristin Chenoweth, Raven-Symoné, Jesse McCartney and Angela Bartys, it also features new cast members who include Matt Lanter, Timothy Dalton and AnnaSophia Robb.
