Hey there guys and gals Anonymouse here. I have some interesting Disney World Discount gossip for you today! New details are coming in that Disney Visa will be offering a Summer 2014 Room Rate Offer later this week, it might be as early as tomorrow!!!
With this Disney Visa offer guests can receive a room-only discount of up to 35% off the normal rack rate at select Disney resorts for stays from June 15, 2014 through August 28, 2014. With this deal, guests can save up to 30% when staying up to 5 nights and 35% when staying 6 nights or longer.
Offer excludes Villas at Grand Floridian, Art of Animation Resort Little Mermaid Rooms, campsites and 3-bedroom villas.
The dates in which you have to book is sketchy, not sure if its the end of March or June I am still looking into that. If you try to call Disney they are not going to have a clue till the deal comes out. This is how it always is.
So do you like this deal? I know its not the Free Dining you all love but hey it’s better than nothing right? Remember I told you that Disney is going to try to do away with Free Dining? This seems to be the way the discounts are going. Also don’t forget that when this offer goes live for Disney Visa Card Holders it should open up the General Public just a few days later.

Teresa, you might still be able to get that discount on your suite at Art of Animation. It states only the standard Little Mermaid rooms are excluded. 🙂 Be sure to call about adding the discount once the offer is announced. Good luck!
We booked a couple of months ago for a Suite at Art of Animation – going in August. I don’t understand why this discount can’t be used here since we are paying over $300 a night for the room and are staying for 8 nights. Grrr…
