Hiya!! It is your favorite gossip columnist Anonymouse!! I’m baaaaaaack!! I am shocked that Chiperoo let me leave my computer long enough to find out some gossip for you. He is such a slavedriver, shhhhhh don’t tell him I said that.

I have some Disney Cruise line gossip for today. I hear that effective Nov. 15, 2013, Guests will no longer be permitted to smoke on stateroom verandahs on-board Disney Cruise Line.

They do recognize that there are people that smoke, and we know Disney does loves to make every guest happy, so portions of open-air decks on each ship will be designated as smoking areas. Smoking is not allowed on stateroom verandahs. If it is found that you have inhaled in your room, or verandah, your fine will be a $250 stateroom recovery fee. This fee covers a deep cleaning.

I have also heard that Disney has relaxed the dress code for their main dining rooms. It’s about time!! How many people on vacation want to wear a pageant dress just to go to dinner? They are still asking for no tank tops or swimwear. The swimwear I could understand, especially after seeing what some people wear, or don’t wear to the pool. I also hear that the adults only restaurants will still have a dress code.

So they relax on one thing and tighten another. Well I guess you can’t have it all.

Any who, that is all the Disney Gossip I have right now. For my past Gossip articles be sure to check them out here.

Anonymouse searches the internet, annoys cast members, and wouldn’t think twice about using a Ouija board to find you the freshest Disney Gossip. Some of what she’ll report is confirmed, some is based on information from the rumor mill, and some, frankly, she just read on the bathroom wall in Fantasyland. So take it with a grain of salt and have fun!

  1. The no smoking policy will be a good thing–I have a friend whose Alaskan cruise was almost ruined by chain smokers on the next veranda, so they couldn’t really enjoy their own veranda room which they had paid extra money for. Way to go Disney!

  2. I think that the dress codes are a good thing! How often is one able to go ‘back in time’ to an era where dressing for dinner was the norm?
