It looks like Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is making big changes to the redesign of their Luna Park Pool area. Many Disney World Resort guests have seen the pool and are familiar with the clown face attached to the waterslide. The resort currently has construction crews working on the pool area to improve the experience for guests. However, the waterslide won’t look the same in the future since the clown face is now permanently removed!
The unforgettable clown face often gets a mix of positive and negative reactions from guests. Some love the iconic look, while others find it a bit creepy claiming it looks similar to a certain horror movie clown.

Some were quick to notice the disassembling of the waterslide clown face. It’s quite a different aesthetic now that it’s gone.

The Twitter account @TheMouseAndMore caught how the clown face was being cut to pieces before being hauled away.
We’ll have to wait and see for construction crews to finish the redesign of Luna Park Pool. We’re certainly curious to see what will replace the clown. The construction project will be complete in a few weeks, so we should see the new waterslide design soon.
Are you a fan of the clown face waterslide or are you happy to see that the resort pool is being refurbished? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

LUV DAT CLOWN!
Little by little they keep removing all the pieces that gave the pool and boardwalk the Atlantic City / Coney Island flavor. Eventually the entire property will be decorated like an innocuous day care center.
I hated the clown. We stay at the Boardwalk frequently and thought it was creepy.
