The Epcot International Festivals are always full of treats that are amazing both taste wise and visually. The Epcot International Festival of the Arts definetly takes it up a notch as far as visual appearances go. The Artist’s Palette Cookie is one of the most eye catching of the tastings available.
This jumbo chocolate chip cookie first made it’s appearance at the 2017 Festival of the Arts. It’s worth noting that while people were in love with the look and concept last year, the taste department fell a bit flat. I was hesitant to order because of the dryness it had last year. I’ll give anything a second chance though, and I’m glad I did with this one! It’s not hard or crunchy at all this year, and that made me so happy!
This is a wonderfully made chocolate chip cookie, that’s thick and soft. The chocolate chips have varying sizes within that give it a nice texture. There is definetly the perfect amount of sweetness, even with the paint splats on top. The colorful paint daubs on top are icing, that you can paint with the paint brush that comes with each cookie. The icing doesn’t spread very far, so you don’t have to worry about dripping or spillage, but it spreads enough that a kiddo can have some fun with it. I didn’t make a masterpiece out of mine, sorry guys!
You’ll find this artistic tasty treat at four different locations in the World Showcase for $5.50. You’ll find the Artist’s Palette Cookie at Cuisine Classique, The Artist’s Table, Decadent Delights, and Fife & Drum.
