Circle of Life at the Land Pavilion in Epcot Closed for Long Refurbishment

Yesterday The Circle of Life at Epcot‘s The Land Pavilion closed for a lengthy refurbishment. The Circle of Life is a 20 minute film that teaches conservation with Timon and Pumbaa from Disney’s The Lion King. The show is scheduled to reopen on April 3, 2016.

There’s no word yet as to what work is being done on the show but rumor is it will be replaced with The Lion Guard show. The Lion Guard is a very popular animated TV series on Disney Junior. The show follows Kion, Simba’s son, as he leads his friends (known as the Lion Guard) to protect the Pride Lands.

What do you think about the possible changes coming to the Circle of Life show? Let me know in the comments!
