Natalie Desselle Reid, an actress in the ‘Cinderella’ 1997 live-action film, has unfortunately passed away on Monday at the age of 53.
The talented actress had roles in many different movies, recognized most for her parts in “Eve,” a ‘Madea’ film, ‘B*A*P*S,’ as well as playing the part of Minerva the stepsister in the popular Disney fairytale ‘Cinderella’ (1997).
According to a family member, Natalie had been fighting colon cancer since she was diagnosed earlier this year. (TMZ)
A message was shared to her fans on Instagram on Monday morning, “It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning from colon cancer. She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife. Her diverse career touched so many and she will be loved forever. Naturally, we are grieving and processing this profound loss and we thank you in advance for respecting our privacy at this extremely difficult time. ???”
