Chris Hemsworth to Begin Filming ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘ This Week. As more and more star arrive in Australia to complete their quarantine before filming begins, Australian native, Chris Hemsworth spent some quality time with his family before setting off to film the fourth Thor film.

Hemsworth shared the news in a recent Instagram post writing, “Great to get away for a few days to @visitlordhoweisland before starting on #thorloveandthunder this week!”

“Thor: Love and Thunder, opening on May 6, 2022, begins filming next month with director Taika Waititi at the helm. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson return to their roles, joined by Christian Bale, who portrays villain Gorr the God Butcher.”
