Starting planning a Disneyland Vacation almost always starts with a conversation of where to stay. Well let me tell you why you should almost always choose a Disneyland Resort Hotel.
No matter which Disneyland Resort Hotel you choose, Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Hotel, you’ll receive all the following benefits of staying “on-property”.
Extra Magic Hours every day of your Disneyland Resort Hotel stay. This means that you can enter Disneyland or Californian Adventure an hour before park opens to the public, plus you can go through the secret special entrance from the backside of Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Currently Extra Magic Hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for Disneyland Park. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays for California Adventure.
In addition you’ll be right next door to the two parks. Just stroll through Downtown Disney from Paradise Pier or Disneyland Hotel and enjoy your day at the parks. If you’re staying at Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, head out the back side and right into California Adventure.
The magic really shines when you are in your room. In the morning you can enjoy a special wake up call from a Disney Character. What’s better than waking up with a call from Mickey? In select rooms at the different hotels you can also be lulled to sleep by the music of “A dream is a wish your heart makes”.
Also with your stay you can use your Room key to charge most of your meals, merchandise and more back to your room. This is a great way to just pay one bill at the end of your trip. You also have the option of buying merchandise throughout the parks and having it delivered back to your hotel. I’ll admit I use this a lot as I always buy way more stuff than I should.
