Children are Now Asked to Scan a Finger Before Entering Theme Parks

It appears that children under the age of ten years old are now being asked to scan their finger before entering the Walt Disney World theme parks. Disney has made no formal announcement of the recent change although WDW News Today is reporting that the new requirement went into effect last week.

This is most likely being implemented in order to help eliminate ticket fraud and resale. In the past, guests under the age of ten were not required to do a fingerprint scan or show a photo ID before entering the parks.
