Chef Jet Showcases Asian Cuisine at the Epcot Food & Wine Festival

Chef Jet Tila showcased Asian cuisine with a twist at this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival! Chef Jet Tila is well known for starting in America’s most popular TV cooking shows, from Food Network to the Cooking Channel. Chef Jet is known for his simple but delicious Asian and Pan-Asian recipes.

Chef Jet’s inspiration comes from family inspiration as well as the time he spent in LA’s Thai Town, ChinaTown, KoreaTown and Little Tokyo. He is also a culinary ambassador for Thailand and his family is known for opening the first Thai grocery store and restaurant in the United States. Chef Jet has been instrumental in creating many Asian and Pan-Asian restaurant concepts throughout the US. Not only that, but Chef Jet has also penned two books- 101 Asian Dishes You Need to Cook Before You Die and 101 Epic Dishes, which he wrote with his wife Ali.

The Disney Park Blog interviewed Chef Jet about his experiences and Asian cuisine at Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival, as well as talk about all things Disney!


Don’t forget that the 24th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is running fro now until November 23rd 2019. Featuring culinary delights from many cultures as well as entertainment and family fun at Walt Disney World Resort. This year has extended its run to an amazing 87 days!

Guests visiting the International Food & Wine Festival can surround themselves with many aromas and flavours from more than 30 global food and beverage destinations from Future World to around the World Showcase promenade. Not only can guests visit individual stalls but guests can also attend premium dining events featuring chef personalities. Likewise, Chef Jet is brought his food delights to a Food & Beverage pairing on Friday 4th October and Party for the Senses on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Party for the Senses

This event is an exclusive ticketed soiree featuring many global cuisines from Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival as well as surrounding guests with music from Femmes of Rock!

This event is held between the United Kingdom and Canada in the World Showplace Events Pavilion and will run on select Saturdays during the Festival. Please note that gratuity is included but Epcot theme park admission is not.

Speciality Dining and Pairings

Speciality Dining and Pairings enhance guest’s experiences further by tasting authentic, delicious dishes from France to Japan and beyond. Guests will be able to savour every mouthful and pair it with beverages from each unique culture. The Pairing events complement the amazing flavours further with complementary wine or craft beer which has been specifically selected by the restaurant’s chef of house sommelier.

Speciality Dining and Pairings are held on select days throughout the festival. Prices vary and most do not include Epcot theme park admission.
