As many of you know December 6th was the Grand Opening of the New Fantasyland and all were excited to see it (yes we all saw it last month for a sneak opening as well!) But, regardless I loved it last month and will continue to admire the New Fantasyland for many moons. But the best news of all, is that even with the Grand Opening, Disney is already looking forward to the future phase of Fantasyland that is scheduled to open with a new, dark ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
At the media announcements of the new Fantasyland they gave a great virtual ride and see through construction walls that take you almost step by step through all the twists and turns. We have some great video to show you of the ride and what to expect, but Disney assured us that they left out some twists to make it exciting when the day comes that you stop dreaming and get to ride it yourself!
Check out the video below for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train virtual ride POV for Walt Disney World:
Park guests that are lucky enough to be visiting now and in the near future the New Fantasyland will get to see themed construction walls surrounding the ride construction site. The walls are designed with pictures of the dwarfs themselves engaged in tasks themed to nearby attractions.
The video below lets you see through construction walls:
How many of you are counting the days (and there are still many left until it’s opening day sometime in 2014) to get to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train? I know I am one of them, I just got to ride the new Little Mermaid ride and that did not disappoint but I know the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train will bring it!
