Even though Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge won’t officially open at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios until 2019, Disney has provided us with a sneak peek at the groundbreaking work taking place to make this incredible new land come to life.
Check it out:
As you can see from the video above, Galaxy’s Edge is shaping up to be one of the most details expansions in Disney history. When this new land opens next year, guests will be transported to the planet Batuu which is said to be a remote outpost at the edge of the galaxy. Here visitors will find yourselves in the middle of the action with two attractions that will take Disney Imagineering to a whole new level. One of these attractions will allow visitors to fly the Millennium Falcon on a customized secret mission. The other attraction promises an out-of-this-world Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a pivotal battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
Readers are encouraged to keep following along with Chip and Co. for the latest in Galaxy’s Edge News and updates or you can check out Disney’s dedicated Galaxy’s Edge page here.
