Disney’s Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort is reopening to all guests tomorrow, July 11. One classic ride in the park has a big change to its experience. The Haunted Mansion stretching room is no more!
Changes were to be expected due to new health and safety measures implemented in the park. These changes begin as soon as you enter the queue for Haunted Mansion.
There are markers on the ground to help guests stay physically distanced from others.
Once you enter the attraction, the stretching room is no longer an interactive experience. Instead of being asked to step into the “dead center of the room”, guests are ushered into a moving queue through the stretch room.
The room no longer stretches but guests can still get a look at the portraits in the room as they walk through.
The rest of the attraction is basically the same, with guests enjoying their visit with the grim grinning ghosts of the Haunted Mansion.
What do you think about the change to this classic attraction?
