Epcot’s Candlelight Processional during the Festival of Holidays is a joyous event where celebrity speakers retell the story of a Savior who was born in Bethlehem. The Candlelight Processional occurs three times each night from Nov. 29 to Dec. 30. There is a different celebrity every couple of days. However, the schedule has now been revised due to two celebrities that will no longer be speaking.
Chita Rivera was one of the celebrities to leave the schedule of the Candlelight Processional. Instead, Alton Fitzgerald White (pictured above), famous for playing “Scar” in “The Lion King” on Broadway, will now be speaking for the event from Dec. 11 to Dec. 12.
Another speaker to drop out of the event was Warwick Davis. Davis was going to be featured from Dec. 19 to Dec. 21 and is now being replaced by actress Geena Davis (pictured above), known especially for her roles in “A League of Their Own” and “Beetlejuice.”
Make sure to check out the new celebrity speakers for yourself before the Festival of Holidays is finished! Simply head over to the American Adventure Amphitheater between the Japan and Italy Pavilions in Epcot’s World Showcase. Be sure to arrive early as seating fills up very quickly.
