You don’t have to travel all the way to Aulani to get a taste of Hawaii this summer. Look no further than the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland to satisfy your Polynesian food cravings. There you will find the spirit of Aloha along with some other traditional Hawaiian food and beverage specialties during the Downtown Disney Summer Celebration.

The Downtown Disney Summer Celebration, sponsored by Dole Packaged Foods, is under way through Sept. 4, with more than a dozen special menu items available at the restaurants of Downtown Disney District and regular weekly appearances by the Polynesian performers of Tupua.

Tupua will make its Downtown Disney Summer Celebration 2017 debut this Saturday evening, July 1, presenting its exciting exhibition of music, dance and color on the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage. During the rest of the celebration, the troupe will appear Friday evenings, July 7 through Sept. 1.

Start with a Summer Salad at Tortilla Jo’s, follow up with Chorizo and Pineapple Flatbread at Uva Bar, and top it off with a Hawaiian Pretzel at Wetzel’s Pretzels.

But…you probably don’t want to do it all in one visit. Fortunately, the Downtown Disney Summer Celebration continues daily through Sunday, Sept. 4. You’ll want to return many times with family and friends to sample everything. Have a wonderful Aloha Summer!

Yum-my! These all sound amazing. I don’t know what I would want to try first. What are you looking forward to trying?
