Celebrate National Popcorn Day With a Look at Some of the Best Places to Grab Popcorn at the Theme Parks

Its Nationa Popcorn Day and what better way to celebrate this much-loved snack then by highlighting a few of the fantastic places that you can grab popcorn at both Disney World and Disneyland.

Pop Secret is the official popcorn of the Disney parks and you can find their delicious buttery kernels at popcorn carts located across the parks on both coasts. Though many visitors prefer the classic buttery flavor, there’s also a few place where you can find some speciality popcorn in an array of delicious varieties.

The Crazy Cone Motel at Cars Land in Disney California Adventure park offers up a delicious array of popcorn flavors including dill pickle, buffalo ranch, white cheddar, Sriracha, pizza and garlic parmesan.  You can even order your favorite flavor in an impressive Lightning McQueen souvenir bucket.

Disney Popcorn

Popcorn lovers visiting Disney World’s Epcot theme park will be spoiled for choice.  Over at Future World West, you’ll find a popcorn cart selling buffalo blue cheese, sour cream and chive and cheddar cheese popcorn.  Can’t decide which flavor you want? Ask them to give you a little bit of all three.  For those that prefer your popcorn on the sweet side, head over to the Canada pavilion at the World Showcase for some maple popcorn.  Or head across to Germany to visit  Karamel-Küche, presented by Werther’s Original, where they serve up a melt-in-your-mouth caramel popcorn that simply must be tried.

Those visiting Epcot during the International Festival of the Arts are also in for a special popcorn treat.  Stop by the Odyssey Festival Showplace where you’ll find a popcorn pairing flight at The Painter’s Palate Food Studio.  This speciality flight comes with three unique beers each paired with a different flavor of popcorn.   The first pairing is North Coast Brewing Co. Scrimshaw Pilsner Style Beer with Bacon Barbecue Popcorn; the second is M.I.A. Beer Company Jazz IPA with Jalapeño Ranch Popcorn, and the third pairing is Central 28 Beer Company Miss Mary Brown Oatmeal Brown Ale with Buffalo Bleu Cheese Popcorn.

In addition to the many treats mentioned above, guests should remember that Main Street Popcorn Company pre-packaged popcorn is available at select merchandise locations at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. You’ll find traditional flavors like caramel, kettle corn, cheddar and confetti as well as other flavors that are a bit more adventurous. Our favorites include Sriracha kettle corn, parmesan garlic, kettle corn with red alaea salt, truffle, maple bacon and churro!

So next time you’re paying a visit to the theme parks save a bit of money in your budget or set aside a few snack credits to enjoy a few of the special popcorn varieties you can only find on a visit to Disney!
