Celebrate Mickey Mouse with the Pressed Penny Silk Pie. I will admit, we totally overlooked this amazing 50th Anniversary dessert at Casey’s Corner is Disney’s Magic Kingdom. While at the Parks yesterday we had ourselves some Corndog Nugget Bites and noticed this snack on the menu finally. It is not often we overlook something, but this one did not deserve that!
The pressed Penny Silk Pie is so creamy and has an amazing mouthfeel. That is a strange sentence, but true. The chocolate filling mixed with the sweet whipped cream was wonderful together. The tart was the perfect addition, the crumbs of the tart just add to the flavor without making it feel dry. We truly recommend getting this snack the next time you are in the Magic Kingdom.
