Three Kings Day-known as El Dia de los Reyes Magos in Mexico, Central and South America-is celebrated around the world in many ways. You can celebrate this occasion at Disney California Adventure park January 2-6, 2016. Enjoy traditional festivities, fanciful displays, and delicious treats.
There will be sculptures of the 3 Wise Men bearing gifts to Bethlehem as well as replicas of children’s shoes. Customarily, children would leave their shoes outside to be magically filled with toys by the Three Kings during the night.
There’s even activities for kids! Children can have fun during the celebration by coloring pictures of the Three Kings or designing their own custom crown with sparkling “jewels”.
A traditional treat for Three Kings Day is a circular cake known as Rosca de Reyes. Try a piece and if it has a baked-in surprise, you’ll have good luck for the year!
