It has been stated by the Hollywood Reporter that Colin Firth is officially in negotiations to play a major role in Disney’s sequel to “Mary Poppins”, titled “Mary Poppins Returns”. Firth will be joined by Emily Blunt in the title role, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Meryl Streep.
The film is set for a Dec 25 2018 release.
