Disney World has Open Casting Call for Luisa From ‘Encanto’
Earlier this year, Disney made an exciting announcement about Mirabel’s upcoming meet-and-greet appearances at the Magic Kingdom. During the summer, Disney Auditions also sought individuals who resembled “Bruno” for casting. Now, Disney Auditions appears to be expanding the Madrigal family by issuing another casting call, this time for the character Luisa.
As per Disney Auditions, “Disney Live Entertainment is seeking Disney Character Look-alikes for the role of Luisa as depicted in the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Encanto. This role is for potential future special events.”
“Performers will have the opportunity to bring this role to life, in addition to performing as world famous Disney Characters at our Parks & Resorts near Orlando, Florida. Disney Character Performers play before thousands of guests each day in character greetings, sightings, and other experiences across the Walt Disney World Resort. Performers sign autographs, pose for pictures, and help create magical moments with guests of all ages.”

Disney is seeking energetic and expressive candidates 5;10″-6’1″ with warm, engaging, and outgoing personalities to portray Luisa. You can submit your application online whereby you will take part in a 2 step audition process.
Casting Call for Luisa look-alikes are being accepted now through September 24th of 2023. The fairy tale garden is currently undergoing construction renovating the space from it’s previous “Brave” theming.
