Disneyland Leaders and Cast Members Honor New Avengers Campus Milestone
In a powerful display of “assembling” the future, Disneyland Resort cast members recently left their permanent mark on the Avengers Campus expansion at Disney California Adventure. By signing a structural steel beam destined for the new attraction, these teams participated in a storied Disney construction tradition that celebrates major milestones in Imagineering.

Disneyland Resort President Thomas Mazloum took to social media to share an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the ceremony. The photos capture Mazloum alongside a group of proud Cast Members as they added their personal signatures to the commemorative beam backstage, marking a historic moment for the Avengers Campus expansion.
The President’s post highlighted the team’s excitement as they “assembled” to leave a permanent legacy within the steel of the park’s newest high-tech headquarters. These signatures will soon be hoisted into the structure, forever sealing the dedication of the Disneyland team into the heart of the Multiverse.
Mazloum’s post read:
“Cast Members left their mark on a project that will double the size of the land and bring more adventures to life. But what stood out most was the excitement and pride everyone brought to something that represents our future.
I can’t wait for everyone to experience what’s ahead!”

The highly anticipated expansion of Avengers Campus is set to debut two groundbreaking attractions: Avengers Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab. In Infinity Defense, recruits will leap through the multiverse to join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a high-stakes showdown against King Thanos. Meanwhile, Stark Flight Lab features the legendary return of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, personally guiding guests through a whirlwind test flight of his latest high-tech innovations.
Beyond the blockbuster rides, logistical upgrades are also underway to handle the influx of new recruits, including the addition of much-needed restroom facilities within the land. Guests will notice construction walls have already gone up around the former Tower of Terror FastPass station near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, signaling that the next phase of the Multiverse is officially taking shape.
