Carnival of Carnage Returns to Universal Studios Hollywood for Halloween Horror Nights 2025
Step right up… if you dare. Universal Studios Hollywood has pulled back the curtain on its latest scare zone for Halloween Horror Nights 2025: Carnival of Carnage—a twisted midway where the only prize is pure terror.

According to Universal’s description, guests will wander into a “seedy sideshow where murderous clownz make your horrified screams a part of the show.” Expect creepy circus tents, dark carnival energy, and clowns who are far more interested in chainsaws than balloon animals.
Carnival of Carnage has a long and gory history in Halloween Horror Nights lore. The name was first used for a Hollywood show in the ’90s and early 2000s, before becoming the subtitle of the 17th HHN at Universal Studios Florida in 2007—an event led by HHN icon Jack the Clown. Its return to the streets of Hollywood brings that legacy full circle.

This scare zone joins an already fearsome lineup alongside Murder of Crowz, Chainsaw Clownz, and Noche de Brujas. Haunted houses for HHN 2025 include Poltergeist, Fallout, WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Terrifier, JASON UN1V3RSE, Scarecrow: Music by Slash, and Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood kicks off soon, and tickets are already on sale. With Carnival of Carnage now confirmed, it’s clear the midway will be the last place you’ll want to linger—unless, of course, you’re the main act.
