The cruise industry has not sailed in the U.S. in over a year but it looks like cruises will be resuming soon! “This is the exciting news that we have been waiting for,” stated Capt. This is a monumental step to getting the cruise industry up and running once again.”

Port Canaveral is one of three homeports for Carnival Cruise Line. The CDC currently requires cruise lines to have public safety agreements with their homeports before the implementation of simulated cruises.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line could also be resuming regular cruises soon. The cruise line will begin test sailings this month and might have regular sailings in July! July sailings were spotted on the Miami Dade County cruise ship schedule. Cruises listed start July 2, 2021 sailing on Freedom of the Seas. The Royal Caribbean website also shows dates in July available to book.

Royal Caribbean has also not cancelled its July sailings as of now. We are hopeful that this means passengers will get to sail again soon!
