PIRATE TUTORIAL

Ahoy, mateys! A big change has taken place in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.

Captain Jack sparrow is no longer hosting his Pirate Tutorials.

If you stroll down the walkway between the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and the stage where the Pirate Tutorials used to take place, you’ll see that no training is going on. Instead, Captain Jack sparrow is meeting his adoring fans at this new character encounter at Adventureland. We took a look at the Magic Kingdom Times Guide and we noticed that the Pirate Tutorials are not listed on the Guide at this time.

TIMES GUIDE

There is no word right now from Disney about whether the tutorials will return, whether Captain Jack Sparrow will be greeting Guests permanently or any other specific information about the future of this attraction at Adventureland.

If you’re wondering what other adventures there are to experience at this part of Magic Kingdom, rest assured there is no shortage of activities and attractions available for you and your family to enjoy.

You can of course enjoy the wildly popular Pirates of the Caribbean attraction during which you will board a pirate ship and set out on a journey that takes you through a town ravaged by pirates. Still looking for adventure? Head over to the Jungle Cruise attraction where you can take a ride down the Nile and Amazon Rivers, enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest flora and fauna around you, meet some very interesting members of the animal kingdom and even see the famous “backside of water.”

And in the Enchanted Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room, “all the birds sing words and the flowers croon” and you can see them for yourself. Step back in time as you experience one of the classic attractions at Disney World that still has Walt’s fingerprints on it. And if you’re still looking for even more adventure, there’s nothing quite like a Dole whip at Aloha Isle. Choose from pineapple, vanilla or swirled flavors. Or enjoy yours with pineapple upside-down cake. And if you want to save time on your adventures, be sure to use the My Disney Experience app to order your sweet treats in advance via the mobile ordering feature in the app.

Check back often for more info about changes in the parks, new attraction and additions at the parks and all the magic Disney World has to offer Guests!
