A California man with existing health conditions has just passed from the Coronavirus according to TMZ.
Jeffrey Ghazarian from Glendora, CA, died Thursday morning (March 19th) at a Pasadena hospital after spending 5 days hooked up to a ventilator and battling for his life … according to family members.
Jeffrey traveled from California to Orlando on March 2nd, 2020 where he attended a work conference in Orlando, then visited Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.
On March 7th he developed a cough and was coughing up blood the next day, he flew back home and went to the ER where they registered him with a high fever. The family states after an x-ray he had pneumonia, and he was tested for COVID-19 and sent home with fluids and antibiotics with instructions to self-quarantine until he got the results back.
The test came back positive on March 13th and was told to keep an eye on his oxygen levels, later that afternoon his symptoms took a turn for the worst.
On March 14th he was taken to the hospital by ambulance and immediately taken to the ICU for his pneumonia. Doctors hooked him up to a respirator and never received antiviral meds in time. He passed away Thursday morning.
Jeffrey had a history of asthma and frequent bronchitis as a child, though he outgrew that. He also had beat testicular cancer back in 2016.
It is impossible to tell if he picked up COVID-19 while traveling to Florida, the Work Conference, at Walt Disney World or Universal Studios Orlando. It is also possible that he picked it up before he even left for Florida.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
