The state of California will be lifting its indoor mask mandate for vaccinated individuals on February 16, according to the Los Angeles Times.
This change will apply to counties that don’t have their own mandates, like Orange County (home to the Disneyland Resort). Disneyland has not made any announcement regarding changes to its current indoor mask policy.

“Omicron has loosened its hold on California, vaccines for children under 5 are around the corner and access to COVID-19 treatments is improving,” said Dr. Tomás J. Aragón, California’s director of public health and safety officer. “With things moving in the right direction, we are making responsible modifications to COVID-19 prevention measures, while also continuing to develop a longer-term action plan for the state.”

Los Angeles County, home to Universal Studios Hollywood, has its own mask mandate that will remain in effect. That mask mandate requires all individuals, regardless of vaccination, to wear a face mask while indoors.
Unvaccinated individuals will continue to be required to wear masks indoors, as well as in certain settings like public transport and within nursing homes and hospitals.
