Due to COVID-19 spreading at alarming rates California Governor Gavin Newsom is immediately closing indoor operations STATEWIDE this includes:

  • Restaurants
  • Wineries
  • Movie theaters
  • family entertainment
  • Zoos & museums
  • Cardrooms
  • Bars

“We’re seeing an increase in the spread of the virus, so that’s why it’s incumbent upon all of us to recognize soberly that COVID-19 is not going away any time soon until there is a vaccine or an effective therapy,” Newsom said Monday.

There will be additional restrictions placed on 30 counties, keep in mind Disneyland resides in Orange County.

Counties impacted:

  • Colusa
  • Contra Costa
  • Fresno
  • Glenn
  • Imperial
  • Kern
  • Kings
  • LA
  • Madera
  • Marin
  • Merced
  • Monterey
  • Napa
  • Orange
  • Placer
  • Riverside
  • Sacramento
  • San Benito
  • San Bernardino
  • San Diego
  • San Joaquin
  • Santa Barbara
  • Solano
  • Sonoma
  • Stanislaus
  • Sutter
  • Tulare
  • Yolo
  • Yuba
  • Ventura

In the 30 counties listed above, they have some additional restrictions in place which include the closing of:

  • Fitness Centers
  • Places of Worship
  • Offices for Non-Critical Sectors
  • Personal Care Services
  • Hair Salons and Barbershops
  • Malls

Restaurants are still permitted to stay open for outdoor dining and takeout, while bars and breweries can serve drinks outdoors if they accompany the beverage with food.

There is no word on if Downtown Disney is affected at this time.
