Bridge Painting underway for San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure
Construction has been ongoing to transform Pacific Wharf into San Fransokyo Square in Disney California Adventure. We recently noticed that the bridge was getting a fresh coat of paint.

Guests can see construction walls and scaffolding up around the bridge and some restaurants in Pacific Wharf. The bridge is being painted red to become the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge. It will be the iconic landmark of the area.
“Once you cross the bridge, you’ll catch a view of the floating wind turbine atop an old fishing net tannery, powering the district from high in the sky. Clues to the area’s storied and charming past can be found in the details throughout San Fransokyo Square.”
San Fransokyo Square will open sometime this summer and will feature dining, shopping, and a character meet & greet.
Are you excited to see the Big Hero 6-themed area when it’s finished?
