The Haunted Mansion’s 50th Anniversary celebration continues at Disneyland and it’s eerily delicious. We’re talking about the Bride and Groom Churros spotted at the Churro Car in New Orleans Square!
Fans of the ride will certainly remember Constance Hatchaway, the black widow bride who carries an ax for any man unfortunate enough to marry her. She can be seen throughout the Haunted Mansion ride, still wearing her wedding gown and probably keeping an eye out for her newest fatality – oops, I mean fiancé. At least in churro form, the Haunted Mansion can have a happier ending. In your tummy, that is.
The Bride Churro is all in white, just like the beautiful specter herself. The churro itself is traditional in shape and taste, but dusted in vanilla sugar for a distinct and classic flavor. The Groom Churro is markedly different in both look and flavor. It’s starts with the same traditional churro, but is covered in dark and milk chocolate powder.
These two are sold separately, but make such a lovely pair of contrasting flavors that you may need to try them both. They cost $5.75 each, tax included, and will only be available for a limited time. Of all the Disney treats that have popped up for the Haunted Mansion’s 50th Anniversary, few are as iconic for Disney as these.
